Island Heat Wings

Juicy, smoky grilled wings tossed in a tropical sweet heat glaze made with our Spicy Caribbean Jam. Perfect for sharing or devouring solo.
Ingredients (for 3 lbs wings)
- 3 lbs Chicken Wings, split and patted dry
- Sweet & Heat BBQ Rub (your favorite blend)
Jam Sauce
- 1/2 cup or 4oz Hungry Bear Spicy Caribbean Jam
- 1½ tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
- 1 tsp Grated Fresh Ginger
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika or
- 1 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 400°F with indirect heat (coals or burners on one side only).
- Season wings generously with BBQ rub.
- Grill wings over indirect heat for about 30 minutes, until internal temp reaches 145°F.
- While wings cook, combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5–6 minutes. Stir in butter last.
- Move wings to direct heat for 1–2 minutes per side until crisp and internal temp reaches 165°F.
- Toss hot wings in the jam glaze and serve immediately.
